6.5 PRC Hornady Dies

Just picked up some Hornady dies for 6.5PRC. The bullet seating die is a bit different it slides down to help hold the bullet as it moves upward and it has 2 bullet seating stems. 1 for standard bullets and one specific to certain Hornady bullets. Planning to try some Barnes TTSX and Hornady CX bullets. A bit different than the RCBS, LYMAN and Redding dies that I have.

Now to test some different powders and get a satisfactory load worked up.

I have some Accurate 3100 that has no data for 6.5 PRC. Thinking it might be a good fit.

The Widden seating dies and Frankford universal micrometer seating dies also feature the sliding/articulating bullet guide. I think the idea is to maintain concentricity before the bullet begins seating into the mouth.

AA3100 is similar to H4831 burn rate, you should be good to go with 4831 data starting load and work up slowly. Use a chronograph if you have access to one

I use Hornady dies in a lot of cartridges, including 6.5 PRC - no complaints!
