6.5 Swe projectiles

I miss the old 160 interlocks.
I've been using the Berger 140s with good groups and good performance on the last couple of white tails

I use 129g interlocks and Hornday 129g SST in my 6.5.

I still have almost a full box of the 160 interlocks laying around on my reloading bench. Might just put them on the EE

I shoot a steyr Pro Hunter in 6.5x55 and this year and for years from now, my go to bullet is the 140gr hornady interlock with 47gr of Reloder 22 groups an inch for me at 200 yards and i nicely placed shot is all it took for each of my 2 deer this year.. FS

I've shot the best groups ever in my 6.5x55 t3 with 129 sst's, but hitting bones in a deer fast was a bit explosive. Turns out deer run sometimes when you spook them up close. I've shot them with 140gr sst's too, but farther away and much slower, not a great load but it eventually worked. 140gr partitions work really well. Good mix of damage and two holes. I made up a 2850 fps load that shot nice with 120gr ttsx, but then won a .243 last fall and dumped my deer with a 85 gr partition at 3050fps. I tend to not push super hot, or I'll just buy a bigger gun.
