Anyone have a starting load for 6.5 WSM? I have loaded 270 WSM for some time now and am currently finishing a 6.5 WSM project and wanted to get some ammo boxed up to try out. I was think of reducing the 270 loads 10 or 15 %.
 
I used 270 WSM data reduced 10% and worked up from there. This is a very flat shooting caliber, watch your heat on the barrel and it should last
 
Thanks, will try it 10% reduced. I have a #7 heavy barrel should be good for a little heat, i have been told the barrel life is short, but had to try it.
