Anyone have any experience with 6.5 x 55 and 100 gr Nosler Partitions?
I have a couple 6.5' sporters, a 38 and a 96 . The short barrel 38 is shooting 140 gr partitions , and will be good for anything , but the 96 has a 29" barrel and I was thinking it might make a good deer field / Antelope rifle with the little 100 gr partitions , so I am looking for any feedback on the 6.5 and 100 grain bullets, particularly 100 gr Partitions.

I know not the same but i've used them in 257 and they're great for deer sized game. The 264 will probably have a better BC. For your velocity don't over look the Hornady interlock. Cheap and reliable and great deer bullet

After trying so many other bullets over the years and having scrap metal thru good meat from bullets fragmenting I shoot strictly Partitions and A frames for hunting now. They are expensive , but totally reliable expansion and they stay together .I am sure there are other good ones made, but I think I am sold on the Partitions / A frames.

I have a couple .260, so similer performance to your 6.5x55, I found better accuracy with the 125gr partion, but did try the 100gr for a few deer and goats, like the 125gr far more, Tried the 140gr in my 264 win, but better accuracy with the accubond.
try the 125 good balance between speed, and performance.
