6.5 x 55 WHO HAS ONE FOR SALE

Tradeex has lots and lots of old Swedes and usually a handfull of new and used sporting rifles in their hunting department. Click on them at the top of the page.

*edit* unless you're absolutely in the market for a Tikka, as your screen name might suggest. In that case, Wholesale Sports had the last one I saw in stock in a nice stainless/laminate. It would be mine if I'd happened to have a grand in my pocket that day

+ 1, I have baught a M96 and a K31 from Anthony at Trade Ex. Their description of the condition of the rifle is generally spot on. Don't be concerned over the outward appearance of the rifle, pick one up that has a very good bore. The rest, you can DIY to fix up if you want. Also, Jean Plamondon at P & S Militaria online (shop in Sherbrooke) is excellent to deal with, I have picked up a Swedish Husqvarna M38 short rifle with bent bolt, got it Monday, very pleased. Happy hunting!

"...looking for a 6.5 x 55..." A commercial hunting rifle or a Swedish Mauser? How much money do you want to spend? You want to buy locally or does that matter?
Epp's, for example, is listing an M96 milsurp at $299 and a Zastava LKM 70 MANNLICHER at $718.80.
