6.5CM do it all rifle: RPR vs BA vs CTR

I havent got a clue about any of the rifles the OP is shortlisting. I have shot a CIL 950T in 6.5x55 and it made even me look more than adequate. A better marksman could have won serious matches with it imo. So I would vote the Savage (virtually the same as that old CIL 950). Based on some experience with Remingtons..I think that new 'Magpul' in 260 rem might be the 'cats ass' and worth a look at. Once you shoot the barrel out (if you ever do) go to the Creedmoor. I have read too many 'yes but' articles about Ruger to own a Ruger rifle. As for Tikka. Dont know. I am sure it is a good rifle. The old ones sure were and Sako makes pretty good rifles...the model 75 possibly being one of the better ones and not dissimilar in action design to the TRG

CTR no question at all. It is a much better rifle than the others in every respect. I was shooting my buddies CTR today, silky smooth bolt travel and cartridge pickup from the magazine and outstanding accuracy. I have seen customs that are not as smooth or accurate as these CTRs, great value for the money!

I have no opinion rifle - wise, but I think you may be unhappy with a 16x scope for hunting. Unless you're planning on 300yd + shots, if you want a fixed mag scope , stick with 4x or less. There's a reason they sell so many 3x9's.

These are coming soon. They look pretty slick.

The gun would see as much shooting as hunting hence the higher mag scope

What he's saying is you need a variable. A 4-16x would be fine for hunting. A straight 16 power will be just plain awful for hunting.

I am still getting used to my 6.5 Stealth. Shot it a bit today since I re mounted my scope again. The wind was bad, gusting from 7 mph to 15 mph. Luckily it was mostly a headwind. This rifle will be a 1/2 MOA or better at 100. Shooting factory 143 ELD-x. It has only 50 rounds down the tube so far.
I am a fan of normal style stocks, like the CTR, and is why I have one on the way still, but dang this rifle just wants to stay. It was the first time shooting it with the Heathen brake on it, it worked great.

Update

I end up going for a savage 10 fcp sr in 6.5 creed. It has a 24in barrel. Bottom metal. Threaded muzzle. Scope rail and a FDE stock. I should get it by early August. It will be topped with a bushnell DMR g2 in burris xtr signature rings. Cant wait!

Yes from Irunguns

with all the shipping and stuff i comes pretty much at 1000$ CA

This is cool I think. Savage 10 action, accutrigger, 24in barrel, 10 rounds mag, threaed muzzle. This should be interesting
