6.5x47 from stevens 22-250

I would like to build this 6.5x47 as a detatchable magazine from stevens 22-250 which has the internal mag. I am looking at the XLR stock which provides bottom metal. XLR industries states they can ship to my home for $65.00. What are other viable options. What are Choate precision with CDI or similar worth. The more I save on the hardware the more is left for optics. I am looking at a 600 meter rifle. What have you done.

Just for info's sake. Beware of any dealer that says they ship to you direct if the stock costs more than 100.00. That means they haven't got an export permit. If the stock gets nabbed at the border on the US side will the company give you your money back? Just be careful. I've heard of too many stories where they customer doesn't get their money back.
