6.5X47 Lapua Dies

Redding is my only choice. I get them from Sinclair International in Indiana. I haven't talked to him yet but I understand Paul Rieben in Kamloops shoots a 6.5 x 47 so I'm assuming he can get dies. Joe ##### at ### is working on getting Lapua brass. I'm also leaning to a 6.5 x 47 but haven't made the plunge yet.

However, it's so new there's very little available for it yet. Redding is listing dies. At $274.50US for the full match die set. Brass is running $85.98US per 100 at Huntington's Stateside.
It likely hasn't made it up here yet. You'll need a chamber reamer and headspace guages. New stuff is expensive to play with. If yo udo opt to build a rifle, but at least 500 cases too. New cartridges tend to get discontinued if they don't sell. And the makers don't care if you can't get it anymore.

The PowderKeg in Kamloops had a set or Reddings instock the last time I was in (1 week ago) and Mick McPhee has the reamer and is building rifles in the caliber right now. Reccommended bullet is the 123 Lapua. The 142's appear to be too heavy. Steve
Hopefully without being too commercial, we have the 6.5X47L brass in stock and 6.5 123gr. Scenars in 10-14 days. Have 2 rifles built so far but have yet to shoot them. Results in USA have been as expected, winning the first 600yd BR match entered. Brass is tough, with small rifle primers, as per 6PPC-thick-head. Don't discount the 139s and we'll report on that.

Anyhow, Harrel Precision will make you a custom die, just send a couple fired cases and he will make you a perfect fitting full length sizing die. $75US IIRC
