6.5x47 mag feeding

Hey guys,

I was wondering how the 6.5x47 Lapua round will feed from an AI mag suitable for a 308? I've nearly purchased all my parts for a build (just trying to decide on a stock and bottom metal) and I have to decide on a calibre based on the parts I've accumulated over the past year. It's likely to be a 260/243/308, 6mm or a 6.5x47. I already have a 6.5x47 reamer, dies and brass hence my question.

When the 6.5X47 Lapua was designed, reliable feeding was a consideration, as this is now the go to round for CISM.

yep. 3mm shorter than a 308 case means you can use match bullets and mag feed.
