To me, the Hornady expander button makes so much sense, I don’t know why the others don’t use the same design.

I guess there isn't enough cheap bastards like me in this forum that use Lee dies. I think the Lee expander has a better streamlined shape and less abrupt than the Hornady expander.

The advantage to both types is the expanders are centered by the locking collet with less chance of pulling the necks off center and inducing runout.

I use Lee dies a lot. But Lee don't make 9.3x57 dies that I have ever seen. So, Hornady.

I was experiencing significant runout using RCBS dies. I ended up putting o-rings under the decapper nuts which helps center it and allows it to float slightly. In addition to well-lubed case necks this has helped a lot.
