6.5x55 swede vs .260rem

[6.5x55mm]

I have 3 6.5x55mm. My advise would be get him a T3 LH 6.5x55mm and be done with it. Use factory fusion 140gr ammo and when he gets older step up to stout hand loads.

I dont have a .260 but have a Carl Gustaf and a Tikka T3 Hunter in 6.5x55. I don't reload and have no problem finding ammo. Tikka love's the Norma 160 gr Oryx, Alaska and Vulkan. Best accuracy in my Tikka. I shoot Lellier & Bellot when I just want to have cheap fun. They are accurate also. Win, Fed and Rem 140 gr didn't group that well with my Tikka. The 6.5 x 55 has become my favourite caliber.

That they do...I also like Hornady.

Actually I discovered that for reloading PMC, Winchester, Federal and Remington are not the proper dimensions and will show case stretch after a few loads.
