I've just spent a couple hours googling this and the closest I've come to an explanation for why data doesn't seem to exist and/ or nobody has tried it is that everybody likes/ uses the new powders ( 10 yr.'s old or less). I've got a really tight-shooting M38 Husky carbine and over 40 lb.'s of WC846 surplus powder ( uses blc2 load. data) ; looking at loading data it seems to me that it oughta work , but I'd like to hear some confirmation. I'm thinking mostly 140 gr. PSP bullets, hopefully match or better the mil. ammo accuracy. Anybody had luck with this ?

Not ideal and won't work are two separate things. I've used BLC-2 in a 270 WSM for a reduced load and it works consistently, even though everyone would tell you that it's not designed for large case capacity, too fast, etc. Start low, work up slowly with a chrono, and use common sense. Whether you get any decent grouping or not is another thing. Lighter bullets will be more suited for that powder, and you won't end up with a screamer, but I'm sure you'll find an adequate load. It meters like a dream...
