Hi I have a 1943(i think) Mauser and I have absolutely no idea to the value of it. The firearm is in good condition and shoots great can anybody help me with a value
I know very few shooters that would fire enough through their rifles, that the rifling would suffer, given the lack of surplus 6.5x55 and the current cost of factory ammo. Myself, through my 2 M96's I have put just over 2,000 cast lead bullets through mine with no effect on the rifling in the last 2 years. I would have a tendency to believe the disc's.
Maybe Buffdog can chime in but IIRC often folks used to swap the stock disks on swedes to make the condition out to be better.
Only takes turning one screw.....
