Is Swede ammo available in factory loads? I havnt seen any around!

I saw a few boxes of Winchester at the Lebaron in Markham (Toronto) store just before Xmas. Did you check at the Ottawa store ?

I ordered a Box from my local dealer. Cheapest he could find was $30/box of Federal. After that shock, I reload for it now.

To get the most out of the Swede round you really should reload for it! The factory loads are quite mild in deference to the older rifles out there. Norma ammo is a bit hotter than the US made ammo but it is pricey if you do manage to find it.

Yeah. I picked up some Milsurp 6.5x55 at a gunshow and it was much, much hotter than the Igman loaded variety.
