Impressed with my XCR. I'm not saying it's the an uber-accurate semi, but I sure as heck will be using it for deer now.
Now up to about 300 rounds and I'm finding the accuracy increasing. This is one of the targets I shot today. I have the gun sighted at 2 inches high. Yes the hit point is below... because my buddy hung the targets all upside down... I scanned it this way so people could read it. So actually it's right where I want it at 2 inches high. I was shooting the "cheap" Remington Express Rifle stuff, marked MC R68R2 FMJ's. I'm going to try with some Match stuff later. Here is the image.....
The gun is the newer model with the better trigger and whatever upgrades happened. I have the stock adapter with a Rock River Arms "Operator" stock I think... an Ergo Grip and the scope I use is a cheap Leupold VX-1 2-7x33mm. I have a 1.5 to 4.5 Monarch I will be putting on later I think. I use this for sighting in for the higher magnification... But then maybe I won't change it. Seems to be centered nice where I want it... why start over... We'll see, I've never been a Leupold fan. Harris bi-pod with ARMS adapter/mount, which is what I shot with from the hood. I wish I had a proper bench.
Here's the only photo of the gun I have now.... My wife was out shooting with me today.
Yeah so, overall, fairly impressed and a good day to be had on the Tundra shooting about 100 rounds. Hope this answers some guys questions about the 6.8 SPC.
You may Party On.
