Just finished doing a test ladder for speed and pressure signs. The gun doesn't seem to care about the speeds. I almost ripped the bullseye out of the target with 7 shots out of 7 all in the bullseye at 100. There is only a little tatter of orange left. This gun and these Hammer bullets impress the crap out of me. I'm not a skilled shooter. I know it's the gun not me. I was increasing powder by .6grn each round hoping to get to 3050fps. and got to 3068.2 with a 69.2 load of rs magnum. crazy accurate gun. loves these copper hammer bullets.

6.8 Western is an excellent cartridge. A 160gr monometal shaped like a spear is serious medicine

I’ve heard great things about the round. It’s on my list but too many current projects to get to it. I think it would be the perfect mountain cartridge.

What rifle do you have chamber in it ? Factory or custom ?
