I like the idea of Ruger taking the precision rifle game seriously, however I don't know about the 6mm Creedmoor for a mainstream rifle. The 6CM is tough to find factory ammo for if you can find it at all, while you can find 243 in any gun store around because it's pretty common. I get that they still have the 308 for people who prefer to buy off the shelf ammo, but I bet they sell fewer 6CM's than they did 243's. Just for the simple fact that your average hunter/shooter is going to look at the 6CM and think to himself where on earth he's going to get ammo for it, whereas he could walk into Canadian Tire and pick up some 243 and start shooting.
For the Precision shooter, who already reloads and is getting more into the game, I'm sure they'll like the 6CM option.
