I managed to get my mule deer doe tag for at least 7-8 years in a row, and now have not been drawn for 2 years in a row!
Darn it! They are so tastey!

I try a different weapon/caliber each time I hunt them. A refreshing new challenge each time.

Theres lots of them in 357 hey
Most of em are dumb like stumps lol
they are tasty though.
I gave up on them after having draws split between 356 and 357 a couple times..
hard to hunt both tags that way

I'll be sure to not leave any garbage behind, and as I don't drink when I hunt, no empties either. Some of us live in Calgary because that is where our jobs take us, not really a choice. Back home in NW Ontario, we always had to deal with poachers and trespassers, no big city around, so one guess where they came from... good 'ol country boys.

There shouldn't be a rural versus urban debate. It should be gunnie vs anti.

Pulled an either ### elk tag for Camp Wainwright. I know it's not a high percentage hunt... But while out there last year and filling two deer tags and a bull moose tag, I spent a half hour looking long and hard at a 5x5 and a 6x7 bull bedded down on a hillside right in front of me. Hopefully, one of them is still there

I expected to draw antlerless elk on the Suffield base, but getting two tags is a nice bonus.
