My brother in Law and I have an alarmed garage in the fraser Valley in an inconspicuous area. last night someone broke in and left all our reloading equipment but stole all five rifles he had there. in case any one hears of the following rifles come for sale and something doesnt seem right please let me know!! will update with serial numbers and more info later!

Krico 650 super sniper - with 10X leauopold scope
Remington 700 BDL in 375 H&H mag with camo stock - serial # 06269543
Maverick 88 pump action shotgun - field barrel
Savage 64F .22LR
Russian SKS blonde laminate stock

they ripped the alarm speaker off the exterior walk , got in through the back - kicked in the locked door to get in, and exited through the garage door at the front.

they also stole 25 boxes of shotshells and a number of boxes of misc. rifle Ammo
as well as they left all my empty brass and reloading equipment but stole all the projectiles (Several hundred)

what a rip off, i am almost sure it must have been someone who knows we have that there!! and not just someone randomly breaking in. which is alarming because we were VERY tight lipped!

Sorry to hear your loss. Hope that they get recovered. Fricken Sh!t Rats................BTW is this garage attached to a residence or associated with a residence?

Sorry to hear. Hate that people are willing to take things, whether guns or other things, that honest people work hard for. ####ty thing is that if these guys get caught the legal system has them out again in almost no time at all.

sorry to hear. your the second post I've seen on this site today for stolen FA and from same general area too, wonder if there's a connection?

I don't know what the laws are but if you do a B&E and steal firearms you should get twice the time as you normally would...

I hope you get your guns back and I hope the rat bastards get sent to the can

Definitely sounds like they knew how to get in and what to go after, this is the second break-in iv seen posted in this area...im starting to worry about my stuff now.

i would definitely be leaning towards someone you know, or at least someone who knows you. i'm sorry to hear that this happened. i'll keep the ears and eyes open over here.

If I'm not mistaken, there is supposed to be a fairly stiff penalty for anyone who breaks in to specifically steal firearms. Whether or not that actually happens is anybody's guess, as I don't know, myself.

Do some digging around yourself. Someone that steals projectiles may be thinking that they can sell it for the copper, or they were stupid enough to think that they were loaded rounds... Some people steal elecrical wire for salvage. Check with a local scrap yard, they could probably tell you the regular guys.
Sorry for your loss. It does sound like someone was specifically targeting your garage.

someone knew they were there. If the police have the time to solve this they probably can.

Chances are the Police have a pretty good idea who could be responsible for the crime.
But, without direct evidence or a witness the file will be processed along with the others
as best they can.
Maybe a game camera could be set-up to assist in any future suspicious activities.
Tight Groups,
Rob

it sure does sound like they've been in the garage before or know someone that has been. Put your thinking cap on and think back as far as you can, who all that you guys know that have been in the garage, make a list. You just might come up with the answer!

Stealing a firearm or breaking in with the intent to steal a firearm has a maximum sentence of life in prision. I would love for a judge to hand down this punishment a few times. Perhaps a deterent like that would prevent this #### from happening.

I've got two sirens.
One in and the other up in the soffits.
The ones in the soffits you won't find and they
are loud enough to attract lots of attention.
I asked the installer about the alarm inside?
He sounded it off and holy moly, hard on the ears,
not to mention the brain for thinking.
Rattles the mind.

After reading some of your posts I'd say that siren definitely rattled some things.

Will watch for guns in Regina although I doubt they'll re surface.

I wouldn't be surprised if criminals have started staking out the local gun stores waiting for people to come out, and then follow them home. There have been a lot of stories out here in B.C. About this sort of thing happening at garden stores, criminals looking for medical grow ops. It may be a good idea to start making sure the LGS isn't your final stop before heading home, and constantly checking your rear view...or maybe my tinfoil hat is a little too tight, but why take chances?
