In which case most shooters who have not developed their index or NPA will have a hard time adjusting, but chances are they were not that great at picking up their irons either...if you know what to look for on either platform, irons or dot, you can quickly get on site if you come up wrong.

Takes me a bit longer now. I don't even own a pistol now with steel sights. If i have shot one round out of a buddy's pistol i have shot a thousand with a dot. Yes it's that bad

With the rht frame mount, you can get pretty low to the bore axis (not as low as melted into the slide tho). And the sight doesn't get as beat up as a slide mount

That is a SVI hammer i take it?? How do you like it? Is it awkward to #### with your thumb? I really like those ones and am thinking ofchoosing it for my SVI build, whenever that happens

that way you can get the better metal grip, and support won't be as much of a hassel.
Fill out the gunbuilder and attach a photo on the vanmulekom, it won't be cheap but the finer things in life never are.

That is virtually the gun I want to build but we will see. For now I may turn my XDM into a open gun and shoot it for a while and save up for the SVI.
The lead times are not getting any slower so if you think you want one next year better get in line now . The worst thing with an Infinity is the wait to get it. There's a few OPen XD's floating around out there, I get a kick out of seeing Glocks, M&P's and XDs turned into Open racers.

Prophet River and Wolverine both have importing services. Waiting on a quote from Wolverine ... They say 4 weeks after it hits the border. Prophet River is a bit cheaper, but longer wait, going by others experience.
Julian at Limcat is a hell of a nice guy. Talked on the phone with him 4 times last week asking stupid noob questions. LoL. But he's really patient, explains everything and makes time out of his busy day for his customers.
Still deciding on the hard chrome or 2 tone finish .. I like the look of both ...
