Its just around the corner, have you got the broadheads sharpened?? the bow all tuned up??? and all the kinks worked out of your shooting form???
I doubt i'm the only one who kinda slacked off with the practice regiment over the winter??? (I picked up my bow August 1 and started getting serious about practicing again after not having shot an arrow since January.)
6 weeks to get the practice time in, make bow adjustments, pattern some deer, find stand locations, touch base with landowners, cut shooting lanes, tune broadheads and go to work the odd day.
Seems like lots of time but you figure how many days will be used for bear, grouse, duck/goose hunting, scouting moose, patterning shotguns, the final sighting-in big game rifles before the season, it will be here in no time.
Man, I love this time of year.
