I have some 60 grain hornady varmint hollow point bullets, would anyone have some load data about these? Can't find anything on this specific bullet, like min. to max. charge and oal. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I developed this load using 60gr Nosler bullets and a Savage Model 10 rifle.

I go to the powder manu. web sites. usually get a good starting point. If they don`t have a load for 60 gr. you can use data for say a 58 gr bullet. Just start a grain lower then work up for you particular rifle. Most of my loading manuals are old enough that varget isn`t listed, every loading room should have a variety of printed data available. I`ve started printing out data from the manu. saves buying a bunch of new manuals for a few powders.I have been at this for 40+ years so i already have a lot of books on the subject of loads and prefer to buy components.:)

I run 26gr of Reloader 15 behind a Plain based 60gr Hornady PSP, inexpensive bullets and excellent accuracy. Although the powders a little on the pricey side.

Running 25g Varget behind a 60g VMax in neck-sized brass. Consistently in the .4s for 5 shots @ 100 in my 700LTR. This was also the only hunting load that I could get to shoot decently in my T3 before I sold it.
