$600-750... SR9 vs CZ75 vs 17C vs GP6

all those 9mms are very good i have a SR9 and i love it, the trigger was a bit stiff at first but it broke in nice i have never had a jam in the 1000 rounds i shot and is very slim compared to the other two , the sights are very nice i get better groups with my SR9 than my Glock 17c once the trigger was broke in the SR9 is sweet for the price but dont pay more than $525 thats what i payed for one 600 is too much

Why 17c? 9mm recoil is not a big deal... save some sheckles and get a RTF or reg Glock. But, to each his own.... buy what feels best..

If you are going to easy out $750, look no further the CZ 75B is the best pick. Glock is only good at $600 or less. Ruger SR-9 is good but have to wait for Ruger to clear all the bugs. GP6 was once sell under $550 while it was named K-100.

Never handled a SR9 so I can't comment on it. The Glock just doesn't feel right in my hand, and that's pretty much the only reason I don't have one. The CZ's rock, and I have 2 K100's (pre STI GP6) that I love. The only knock I have on my K100/GP6 is the mag release. Small button, can be a real PITA to get the mag to drop some days. There is an upgrade for it, though.

Your call. Go with whatever floats your boat :D .

I'm pretty sure glock 17 is the easiest to get replacement/upgrade part for, they have a very wide distribution channel. I know for a fact it's easier than the others to disassemble/reassemble/clean.

I heard bad things about the 17c though, like fire comes out of the "compensation" holes and u get blinded from the first shot. Dunno if it's true or not. Might just get a standard 17 :D

CZ75, I haven't shot that many but I have shot the best groups with this pistol and it also feels the best in my hands. I would not even think twice about getting one if I had the extra money.

If possible, try each before you decide. For me, it would be simple. Either the CZ or the GP6.

I've owned everything on your list except the Ruger, and only the GP6 is still in the safe.

The Glock grip and angle just never worked for me. The CZ is nice, works well, and has a decent trigger. The GP6 just feels better, recoild lighter, and has a much better trigger in SA.

I own a 17c and the flash from the slots isn't blinding so don't worry about that, may be an issue for very low light situations though.

I have a 75B and would like to own the GP6 one day.

There are no all steel CZ in that price range... last time i saw one it was more in the 950+tx range..
maybe for a stainless or the shadow model. Basic 75b is only $700, and there is no reason it should me more - You can get a Beretta for another $100!
