686 Fitment Help

I picked up a 686 Field and went out to the range and tried sporting clays and skeet with it for the first time, I dont know what its called Iam looking to change but it feels like when I use it the stock feels to low and it makes it feel like looking down the barrel is to low for me. Like I said I dont really know what the "technical term" is Iam looking for but its annoying that my Mossberg 835 I use for hunting feels better than my 686. Any Help with that mumble would be great.

If I get what you are trying to say, sounds like the length
of pull is too short for you. the 696's should come with a thick and thin
butt pad, you should have the thick one on. try sliding the shot gun
ahead with your head in place, and see if that helps. Confused yet???
Best bet would to get someone experenced at one of the clubs to help you
with the fit.

beretta shot gun S686 etc
I also have a S-W 686, But damn
hard to shoot skeet with it, But then I do P.poor
with the Beretta 686 also
