6BR as a deer Calibre

i dont see why you couldnt the balistic are very close to the 243 win.and in some loading they are faster.in a 1in8 twist you could shoot the 105 or the 107grain.

if a 45 gr 22 cal will kill them, I'd suspect that a 24 cal with a 80-90 gr bullet should work too

Should work fine with a Sierra 85gr. HPBT.

I know a couple of guys who have shot deer with 6BRs and I've built a couple specifically for the purpose. Like all 6mms, they are an adequate cartridge for deer sized game as long as the shots are well placed. Regards, Bill.
