6BR Lapua New "Blue Box" Brass

Just trying to determine which reamer grind to go with the new brass.

Can anyone tell me what their mike reads on the necks for unturned, loaded rounds?
Also if you know what amount of freebore you're using for 105gr Bergers.
.104 seems to be the standard, but how much of the bullet is seated inside the case?

Any truth to rumour that Lapua may go back to the thicker "cardboard box" necks?

I get .269 with the cardboard box cases (.014tho neck) Subtract .002 thou for blue box brass.
I use 68gr Bart bullets, so I can't answer your second question. It depends on your own chamber.
I really hope the rumour is true.

Just spoke to dave kiff about this a few weeks back and ordered a reamer I think he said .269 for the neck with .090 freebore for the 105's.

Call PTG they have the new blue box reamer drawing Dave will steer you in the right direction.

Haven't heard that Lapua would be going back to old spec.
