Any of you 6br owners have any luck creating a repeater? I know the case design is not the slickest for feeding but I've heard rumors that with a little work they will feed. I want to build a multi purpose hyper/accurate rifle and I would love to chamber it in 6br. Only issue is that it has to feed with some degree of reliability.

Please don't suggest other calibers.... just wondering about the br.

Thanks guys.

Do a googgle search on Mike Bryant Gunsmithing in his ( articles) section he has a method of blocking a magazine to make it work.

I've had ZERO feeding issues with my 6BR - based on a Rem 700 CDL (in 243) - without any modification to the mag well, follower, spring etc.

Even when I use a floating (Score-High) single-shot adapter, I can still stuff them in the mag and they feed smoothly!!!

Every rifle must be different - what action are you planning to start with?

Sorry guys.....of course rem 700 sa. I've seen the bryant design on
6mmbr.com and it looks good but has anybody tried it? One of you smiths should design a blocked straight feed mag to work with badger or hs bottom metal.
