6mm 105 grain A-Max

Has anyone used these with success in a Remington 9.25 twist barrel?

I use these in a 243AI, 3302fps out of 28 inch 8.5 twist Gaillard, with R19. 1/2moa to 1000yds. Kills coyotes wayyyyyyyy out there.

Have shot them in slower twists but couldn't get them real accurate after 3100fps, had to go to 8.5.

If your pushing them at 3000 or so you should be OK

Chuck I would be very surprised if they work out of your rifle, my experience in my 243 Ackley shows that the 105-107 range of bullets require a 8.5 twist at least. Hey but try them you never know!

you never know... exactly :)

6mm 115 bullets have a stated twist requirement of 1:7", however, they stabilize just fine in an 8" twist 6BR doing a sedate 2780 fps. Bad groups do not mean they are not stable. Oval or key-hole bullet holes... now THAT is unstable
