Berger 6mm-105gr Hybrid. Anyone use these? I already have about 500-600 of The Hornady 105gr BTHP but just got a call from a local shop and my back order of Berger hybrids have shown up. Think I should spend then extra 30% and go with the Berger or stick with the Hornady? Literally just started load development for the new 243AI so I could care less about that part, just looking for advice please.

I think most Berger bullets suck, these included. I have used many different Bergers in many different calibres with disappointing results. I always go back to SMKs, they just work. I tried the 6mm 105 Hybrid in my 6SLR and again wondered why I bought Bergers.
"...my back order..." No paying up front? Ordering stuff then not paying for it is why most shops require payment in advance for special order stuff. You really owe it to the shop to buy what you ordered. Besides, you'll go though 500 in no time.

I have no experience with the hybrids but I do use the vld hunting bullets in my .243AI, they shoot great in my rifle.
I've spent over 8 grand in the last year at this local shop and know the owner quite well. They called me to ask 'if' I still wanted them because 'if' I didn't they're were 3 other customers who'd already inquired about buying them. Although, if I wasn't a confirmed returning customer or didn't know the owner I'd completly understand a down deposit. I've done it that way at other places many times.
