6mm AK

More fun than a dewat too. I just bought an AGM MP40 that is almost indistinguishable from the real thing. A real blast to shoot beer cans on full auto :) Not sure what brand that is but you can get some airsoft AKs that are built on steel receivers to the same specs as real AKs (Real Sword is one). I'd look around a bit, I've seen steel receiver/wood furniture AKs go for cheaper than $530.

I hate to be a downer,but some one "might" get upset that you are talking airsoft in this forum.
Maybe hobbies section might be a safer choice for you guys?
I am also a collector of high end airsoft.

Not sure I would trust that site based on how sparsely and terribly labelled that gun is, but if the info that IS provided is correct, it appears to be a gas blowback GHK AKM with a C02 mag (as opposed to propane) the body is all steel and its got laminated wood furniture, is widely regarded as the best out of the box gas AK on the market, though sometimes there are issues with the feed ramp not being smooth enough and causing jams, you can fix this with a dremel
this gun cycles the bolt with gas every time you fire, and has recoil and a loud report, however this brand of ak: http://www.torontoairsoft.com/WE-AK-PMC_p_1770.html or http://www.torontoairsoft.com/WE-AK74-UN_p_1639.html boasts a full length bolt travel and much more recoil than the GHK (the GHK has a short stroked bolt travel that may turn off realism buffs) but the WE AKs are not as durable internally, though upgrade or replacement parts are easily available
I personally prefer the WE AKs, but they dont come in AKM flavour, youd have to buy a russian wood kit and a new gas tube and install them on the WE AK PMC i linked
 
Its sad when law abiding and honest people are forced to buy dewat aks and airsoft.

If you are that desperate, you might just wait for the straight pull ak that is coming.

theres definitley a certain charm to a legal AK thats full auto with 30 round mags and can be fired in my own basement, or the back yard of my cottage :)
