6mm Creedmoor X Bolt Pro

Huge Disclaimer - I am a sample size of exactly one but I just returned an X-Bolt 2 Mountain Pro regular steel barrel to a dealer (had an in store warranty that covered this) I could not get the gun to group well on the order of 2-3 inches at 100yards across a variety of ammo, yes there are a pile of variables that could contribute to that including most importantly the idiot behind the trigger.

I reached out to the dealer and told them what was going on and the first response was just pack it up and send it back to us and exchange for something else which I did and it was a seamless experience, really glad I forked out for the extended warranty on it. In speaking to someone at the shop during the return process they advised I wasn't the first to encounter this issue with this particular model of the X-Bolt 2 and they had a few others who had returned them.

Like I said small sample size and lots of variables at play when it comes to accuracy issues, the extended warranty is what got me out of it easily, literally no questions asked or pushback of any sort. I reached out looking for advice on what else I could try and was just offered the path of exchanging for something else.

I hope you have zero issues and suspect what I ran into might be a small edge case as the X-Bolts are generally well regarded when it comes to accuracy and performance for a hunting rifle.
I've only tried my new X-Bolt Pro with 103 ELD-X bullets so far...41.3 grs of H4350 @2.790 coal in Nosler brass with federal 210's gives me 2975 fps average and a 3 shot best group of .383 inches. at 102 yards.
I'm happy with that! :)

I took my 6CM out for moose one day a few years, just for fun. 95gr LRX @ 3175 fps

My son had elk and moose tags in his pocket last fall, packing his 6mm ARC with 90gr Cx. Would of done the job if we got an opportunity
