I normally shoot 75 sierras and 4064 out of my 6mm rem but the bullet shortage has left me with no access to 75g sierras. I bought a couple varmint pack 70g Bal-tips and can find no info for a 4064 load anywhere. I'm sure my powder charge of 42g 4064 for the other load would work fine but does anybody have any suggestions for a better proven performer with 70g bullets? I believe the burn rate of 4064 is better suited to the 80-90g bullets.
Let's have some expert opinions....

Thanks

Brenden

IMR 4895 will give good results....

I load H4350 with 75 gr vmax in a Ruger m77, works well. I would expect IMR 4007ssc, H100V & the new RL17 to perform real well in a 6mm with varmint weight bullets.

The new RL17 if you can find it, IMR 4895, Ramshot Big Game, RL15, there are a few. Your 4064 will work, but these will give higher velocities.
