Hey everybody, I recently picked up a Rem 700 cdl ltd edtn in 6mm remington and i am wondering what everyones fav loads for this caliber are. I am thinking of something in the 60-70gr range and then something in the 95+gr range. It has a 24" barrel with a 1 in 9 twist. Thanks in advance!!

For the lighter 70 grainers, I like 47 grains of W760 behind them.
For the 95/100 grain bullets, try 47 grains of H4831 or Norma MRP.
Of course, as with all suggested loads, start 3 grains below and work up carefully.
Regards, Eagleye.

I have been loading 69gr Berger varmint with Superformance powder around 3700fps. If I try to load any hotter the groups open up to 3/4" instead of 1/2". I also have a bunch of 55gr Nosler BTs loaded with H4895 moving around 4100fps that I use for shooting gophers. I have some Hornady 100gr BTSP ILs loaded for shooting deer but have not had a chance to actually use them on deer yet. I'm shooting a Cooper Varmint Laminate with a 26" barrel.

Well I'm going to bump this back to the top. I recently acquired another 6mm rem and I'm going to be trying the 85gr tsx with it. I was thinking H4350 or maybe pick up some VV n550. What is everyone else using with the 85gr tsx?

Yeah I've looked at the too, I got some load data from barnes and they're pretty limited on what they use for powder. When looking up data should I guy look at 90-95gr cup and core data for the 85gr monometal?
