Bullets from 60 to 75 grains work well with VV N540, IMR4320/IMR4064/IMR4895, Reloder 15, etc.
80 to 90 grains will respond to IMR4350, VV N150/550/160, IMR4831, Ramshot Big Game, Reloder 19, Hybrid 100V, etc.
95 through 105 grains are best pushed by slow burners like Reloder 22, H4831sc, Norma MRP, VV N165, IMR7828, H1000, Superformance, etc.

With those 87 grain V-Maxes, I would try IMR or H 4350, H414 or W760, or VV N160.
I love the 6mm, and have 3 at present. Shot a lot of deer with that chambering, mostly with 95 and 100 Partitions and Norma MRP.

Regards, Dave.

I'm shooting 69gr Bergers in front of Superformance for coyotes and 55gr NBTs loaded with H4895 for smaller varmint and paper. I bought some 80gr TTSX and some 80gr GMX to work up a deer load for this fall with either Superformance or XBR 8208 but haven't had a chance to sit down and do it yet this spring.

65 gr bullets and Varget is a good combo.
85-87 gr bullets: IMR 4350 works well
100 gr bullets: H4831

I have sub 1/4 MOA loads using above at 200 yds but have shot accurately out to 450 yds on woodchucks.
