6mmBR Norma - what twist to choose?

Sorry. I should have clarified the distances I intend to shoot. I have a .223 that I"ll be using for distances from 100 to 300 yards. The 6mmBR is intended for distances from 300 yards out. Certainly to 600 yards, and I'd like to be able to "play" at 1000 if all goes well. So with the 6BR I'll be (I think) wanting to shoot the heavier bullets that will do better at longer distances.

I would have assumed the answer to be obvious but 1-8 is the one. A great across the course rifle set up.

Get set up with 105 - 107 gr bullets and your golden

8 twist so you can stabilize 107 grain bullets. I shoot SMK's well with mine. 12 twist only good to about 70 grain bullets. That is the varmint version, target version is a faster twist. try 115 grain berger vld's too, I got excellent results in mine
