Just bought one in a Cooper single shot, very good condition and price. 1-14 twist so will work fine for a varminter, and predator rifle, and should handle 80-85 g, for smaller deer.
I have sum load data, hornardy book and hodgdon, but none with more modern powder, do have sum H335, on hand.
Any one have any data, with Varget, Cfe223, blc-2, or VV powder esp 133, 130, or 120.
Owner had a load worked up with 70 B-tip, but hasn't got back to me with it, I have b-tip on hand and will work up a load with them.

Looking for a few pointers, 60-75 g with high energy powders, if not I will just start with a Mid range load from the 6x45,

Accuracy Load: IMR-4895/ 25.9grs. 2900fps/ 1307ft. lbs.
Hunting Load: IMR-4895/ 26.8grs. 3000fps/ 1399ft. lbs.

The Sierra manual is unanimous . . . IMR4985 for all bullets from 55 to 75 grains for both accuracy and hunting.

That slow twist I don't think you will be able to shoot 80+gr bullets. In a 10 twist 6x45 you can shoot 87gr vmax but not much heavier. I have an 8 twist x45 and shoot everything from 55gr to 105gr

My 6x47 would handle bullets up to 75 grains fine but 85 grain bullets would tip. My standard load was 26 of 4895 (didn't seem to matter whether IMR or H) behind a 70. That 6x47 (built on a 40x action) was the furst rifle with which I was able to shoot an aggregate under .250. I should mention, that load loosened primer pockets after about six loadings in Federal brass so it was a little warm for that brass. That's where it shot best though so that's where I shot it.

I have a few rounds, loaded up, with BLC-2, 60g Sierra, and 65 v-max,
Just put a Z6, 2x12 on rifle, scope is a bit big, so will likely, swap to a 1" tube, once loads are sorted out.
On the hunt for 4895, if I can't find any, I will try varget under a 75gr, Sierra HP, and see what happens,
-25 and windy, here today, so given the range a miss, hopefully get a bit of testing done in two weeks time.
I am hopeful, that rifle will handle a 80gr Speer soft point, but as long as it shoots ok, with a decent 70-75gr, I will be happy.
