6XC or 6XC II Which chambering is more common?

It appears it's NORMA's screw up, appearently their brass causes some bolt lift problems.
I have the 6XC and use tubb stamped brass and 22-250 brass and have not had this issue.
Using 22-250 brass is one of the easiest case forming proceedures, simply run it through the sizing die and you're ready to go.
There is a lot of very good 22-250 brass to be used.
Either chambering will work well.
 
have done over 70 6XC with the std 160 FB spec reamer. Norma brass lives for ever and runs like a champ on it. Be a little cautious on the Alfa brass as they have changed 3 times and all run a little different behind some reamers.
Redding comp type s bushing die set is what I have run

I have a tried alpha brass througha Barrel that Furtaker did for me last year. I lost roughly 100fsp copaired to Norma brass before I hit pressure signs.
 
That’s odd I ran alpha threw my xc with exact same load, bullet, primer and seating depth. Got the same speeds and better es and sd numbers, not saying it’s wrong or that I ever had issues with Norma brass either.
 
I bought about 200 6XC Norma brass from Gary at BigHorn a couple of years ago, have been using the same 100 for 2.5 years and they are still going strong. Primer pockets are still tight. I bought Whidden dies at the same time ... use them on my 6.5 Creedmoor also
 
6XC here chambered by Insite Arms, using Norma brass from Gary at Bighorn Sales. No issues what so ever, good speed and low ES. First round hits at 1300 metres, guess it is working.

Also have had 3 barrels chambered in 6XC by Insite, and all with the same Norma brass. All have been lights out accurate and wide nodes for reloading. Can run different powders, bullets, doesn’t seem to matter. Never had much issue at all with hard bolt lift or even clicking on extraction.

I love my 6mmBrs but I don't really think you gain or lose anything in a practical sense.

Lots of guys shoot each one of those successfully. You can't really push the heavies with a 6br.

So 6br will give you a long barrel life but less speed. The others will give more speed but less barrel life.

With good reloading techniques I think any one of the could be a winner.
