Evening nutters,

So pretty much as the title says. I bought the wife s hunting rifle last year and because of scope problems and a lack of time haven't even put 40rds through it yet. Going to take it out this weekend to sight in for a hunting trip at the end of the month.

My question to any who may own this same rifle, what ammo brand and grain works best for you? Also like to add a pre thanks to Kelly for his previous info and I'm betting he'll chime in in this post to.

Thx
ET

I find in general winchester ballistic tips work well, nosler works good in anything, but they are pricey. for the lower priced i always have decent groups from the blue box federal, winchester power points usually work decent, but i never seem to get good groups from any remington ammo.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the info. When I first bought the gun I got Winchester and blue box but they had no chance to prove themselves cause I ended up getting 3 scope that didn't take direction very well ( cheap weaver scopes that come with the combo) the noslers can stay on the self for that price and I collect my brass reloading.

Thx

The only reason i even tried nosler was the wanstall deal last year, other than that i stick with the regular priced stuff. It does make a difference in accuracy, but for hunting it's unnecessary

140g Federal Premium Nosler Partitions are all I use in mine. Fast hard hitting bulllet works well everytime. :)

Just a bit pricey though, so go easy if using them to sight in. :p
