7-08 lever

I was thinking this would be a great caliber for a lever gun to use on moose and deer. Who has one and how does it perform for you?

Im partial to BLR's so thats what I would choose.

Don't think BLR chambers a 7-08. Didn't when I bought my .308

Yes they do make it in 7-08.I traded mine off to Doug on a swap.DAN>>>

Savage had a few 99's in the caliber as well, and both (the BLR and 99) were available in 284 (another great 7mm) at one time I believe, oh, and so was the Win 88. - dan
