7-08 ?

I use 120NBTs for deer in my 275 Rigby (7x57) and 160NPs for moose. Both have worked well in one each. If I was going to settle on one bullet only for both, I'd use a 140NP or TTSX, prefering the 1st. Saying that, the current Speer Grand Slams have a good reputation. I just bought a bunch of those 120gr for my 257 Roberts.
Love the Roberts, mine likes the accubond 110s and have taken a few deer with it. It really is a sweet rifle calibre.

For 7mm-08, two of my sons have used 140 accubonds with great results on northern BC bucks. One rifle is more accurate with 150 eldx, but yet to drop any game with them yet. My go-to plan is to try accubonds and ttsx before all other bullet testing in hunting rifles.

With mine I started with 120g but didn’t get the results that wanted so moved to 140g cup and core and results were better. Velocity with 140 was 2750fps. For moose/elk I would use the 140 or 150 might be better with the highest speed

My wife's 7mm-08 preferred the Sierra 140 gr ProHunters, and yet still performed well with the 140 gr AccuBonds..
I'm working up loads for the 140 gr AccuBond for mine. They produce good accuracy, velocity, and on-game performance in every other rifle and cartridge combination from 257 to 375 cal that I have used them in since they were first introduced.

Hi Gang, for those of you who hunt with the 7-08 what ammo are you finding success with? I will be using mine for 🦌 🐻 and 🫎 out to about 300 yards with most opportunities much closer as is typical here in Ontario. Was figuring on one cartridge for all as opposed to 120s for 🦌 and 150 or 160 for 🫎. I have the rifle set up and grabbed 2 boxes of ammo ( so far ) to begin the process of figuring out what the Grey Lady likes best. Don’t laugh, they all get names. 😳
Well out to 300 yards, 140gr accubond or a 154gr interbond those things work well at 08 speeds
