I am looking to fix this issue. XP hammer spring? Adjustable gas block? Has anyone on here gone through this? I know an easy fix is a longer barrel but I like the fun factor of the 7.5.

Please be a little more descriptive on what the problem is. Is this a new barrel install?
Is it just cycling really harshly? What components are you currently running?
My 6.5 inch worked great with a FA carrier and a Spikes heavy buffer. No adjustable gas block or special springs needed.

It's the 7.5" NEA with CSS stock. I get a sore trigger finger( trigger slap?) shooting it so I pulled it apart and saw the back of the hammer is hitting the disconnector. It's all stock except a Trigger hammer pin retainer system. (KNS)? I see now that the pins walking out is a symptom of something else going on. I don't want to chase my tail buying all these bandaids to find out it was something simple. Next time out I was going to put the lower on a 14.5" upper to see it it does the same thing. And my 7.5" on a regular lower.

My 6.5 did the same thing with a standard carbine buffer, heavy buffer fixed it. Sounds like high carrier velocity. If I'm not mistaken your CSS stock uses a special one piece bolt/buffer so unless you can add weight to it somehow then a stiffer recoil spring or adjustable gas block may be your only options. I would go with the gas block given the choice.
Either that or just run some milder loads through it. What ammo are you using?

Just going through some Norc from a crate. I have heard it can vary from lot to lot on how strong it can be. I like the idea of the adjustable gas block. Anyone in Canada import these?

Best one I've read about is the Syrac Ordnance gen II adjustable gas block. These are adjustable with the handguard in place (some gas blocks can't be adjusted once the handguard is installed) and the adjustment screw is kept in place via a detent. This way you can count how many clicks to open or close the gas block for whatever ammo you are shooting. Heck, you can even shut off the gas for single shot mode if you wanted to. For someone shooting a 300BLK rifle going form subsonic to regular ammo, adjustment on the fly is a nice thing.

Brownells carries them but these can't be exported out of the US. Any Canadian dealers?

Try different ammo, Norc is supposed to be pretty hot, not that I'd know first hand since I refuse to run garbage ammo through my rifles. Try some American Eagle, Winchester, or Remington 223 and see if it's any different.
Sounds like you'll need an adjustable gas block though.
Have you tried calling NEA and talking to them about it? They are usually really good about taking care of their customers and if they are making the gas port too large on the 7.5 inch barrel maybe they will send you a new one with a smaller gas port.

I consider Norinco ammo to be similar to buying random handloads at a garage sale, you never know what you're going to get and my rifles are too expensive to risk just to save a couple dollars on ammo.

NEA has helped me out before with some questions I had and are great to deal with. I might see what they say about this. Ya bulk 556 is hard to find some days and this Norc stuff was available. I will make sure to spend a buck more and get AE next time.

Just a 20 round box to see if it helps, run whatever ammo you want, that's just my opinion of the stuff.
Sounds like it's getting too much gas for the weight of the BCG and spring to handle. It's out of balance and just needs a little tweak to make it cycle nice and smooth.
What muzzle device are you running?
