Interesting developments. Thoughts?
So far it's all marketing hype. It will only be interesting if:
- it's as accurate as they claim;
- it's good value for the money; and
- it's available.
As stated, the notion of a high velocity 30 cal round is not new, but then you ask, "If it was such a good idea, why did it die after WWII?"
nicely put. It's almost identical to 30 carbine (110 gn at 1900 fps) and everyone complained it lacked knock down power and was at best marginal on deer. didn't know 100 fps would make such a difference lol
It's cool but only has limited use due to its weight and size. The 10mm was the next super gun until it faded away into history.
They will not be getting any Mil/LE contracts with that beast, unless some 3rd world SF unit gets suckered into buying it.
