7.5 inch shorty issue

The barrel nut was high by .0010. problem solved. It's together. I work on guns for a living since 1991, I don't pay people for help. At our shop we have 6 guys with many years of experience. This is not the only nea parts that I bought that had issues. This is one of two problem I had to fix. Wish I could tell you what I do but ar15s are small potatoes. Thanks for the ideas. This will be my last nea build.
 
Op installed the handguard wrong. I have numerous nea handguard and the handguard goes in offsetted and then rotate back into its 12oclock.

Experience has nothing to do with modern design. Just like my dad can work on a carb model T but not a 2016 bmw m5
