7.5mm 1882 Ordnance

Gonna bring up this old thread again because I recently bought one in beautiful condition. However there is a slight bit of endshake (like 0.3mm) and rotational wiggle in the cylinder. Are these revolvers intentionally designed with looser tolerances, perhaps to compensate for black powder fouling? I'd like some input from other 1882 owners on whether this is normal.
 
Here you go my friend. I have been yearning for another Swiss 1882! Post 4400 have the medium-heavy top strap, which makes them a bit stronger for spirited loads.

I don't think that information is correct, I just put a 1892 next to a 1896 and they have the same thickness top straps. Both of them are 3mm at the barrel and a little thicker toward the hammer.

no mine was tight as hell with no rattle or shake.
