7.5mm swiss

Hodgdon lists for the .284 Winchester, which is very close in capacity:

120gr bullet, H4895 48gr.
150gr bullet, H4895 46.5gr
160gr bullet, H4895 43.5gr
162gr bullet, H4895 44.2gr

Might be a bit on the hot side.
How many have you load?

I would be more comfortable if it was in the 42-45gr range.

Yours would Be a 180gr 30-06 load

Lee is real light on the loads, notice they don't list pressure for it.....
I use .308 loads as reference in my 7.5x55, larger case will give lower pressure, somewhere around what it should be. Of couse a chrony helps too, 46g of Varget behind a 150g FMJ was hitting just under 2700fps., this is the load I stick to and neck sizing it has not given me any problems.
I would say 44g of H4895 would be the max load I would approach with 168g in the 7.5. The 47g would probably be OK, but I wouldn't try it.

I might have around 40 rounds... actually it might be less than that, I am not home now so I need to check. Thanks guys!

Wow the Lee loads are extremely low... I was using this load data http://members.nuvox.net/~on.melchar/75swiss/sra168-4895.html and for some reason I got a brain fart and decided to load some rounds with 47 grns... :runaway:
