Gee so many of us looking for ammo for a K31. You would think someone would get the stuff in.

It's been some time since I first heard that Epps had GP11 in stock... IIRC it was selling for about $30 for a brick of 60 or 80 rounds. They do carry all sorts of surplus mmo though and would be worth contacting.

In the US, it appears as though Grafs and one or two Eastern European producers like Wolf or PriviPartizan have produced ammo for commercial consumption.

After purchasing my K31 several months ago, I got 100 cases of Grafs from BCredneck.com and just loaded them up with regular 30 cal soft-points. I've since gotten an M96/11 as well at a great price and don't mind having to reload for such well built rifles. They almost beg the shooter to take their time firing and to do their best to take full advantage of the accuracy that they offer!

use win .284 cases run thru 7.5 dies and .308 bullets just seat them for your rifle the OAL is NOT by the book

Reloading is fine and dandy, I just bought 100 new Prvi cases, but it's nice to be able to buy 1000 rounds of the real thing, and be done with it.

Brass is readily available, in either sized or DIY format. Reloading dies are also available, and not that expensive. For waaay less $$ than a case you could be up and going, doing your own ammo.

Plus. Isn't GP11 ammo berdan primed?

Tradex now has Privi 7.5x55 brass $62/100pc. Is Privi good brass? Guess this could go into the reloading forum also.

+1 for 7.5X55 brass from TradeExCanada (Anthony). It's damn near cheaper than 284, and without the case forming work Bullets are just regular old .30 cal.
