Indeed. You can buy Graf 7.5x55 brass for reasonable prices and it uses regular .308 bullets.

Winchester .284 brass is much better quality and a bit cheaper to boot.....:cool:

But you don't have to resize the Graf brass and it's nice to have brass with the proper headstamp. I have both resized .284 Winchester and 7.5x55 brass. .284 Winchester isn't the cheapest or easiest brass to find in the world. It's about the same price as the Graf.

You still have to FLS grafs brass out of the bag......can't just drop a bullet in it.......:confused:
I don't own a .284 so I'm not too concerned about headstamps.....plus I can read so I know what's in my ammo boxes......:)
As far as availability, grafs gets a shipment in the spring and are sold out by summer. Higginsons has .284 brass 365 days a year.......$25/50CAD and the .284 will last you twice as long as the grafs.
