7.62.54r ammo for sale

Mosin ammo

Did you try Coastal Equip. in Mt Pearl, theres also Complete Gunsmithing on O'leary Avenue. Let me know what you find, I'll chip in for half a crate if you want to go that route.

I haven't checked locally yet cause the last time I asked they didn't sell by the crate and their prices were pretty high (except OP fishing in Donovan's for some reason - I need to give them a call). I'll keep you in mind for splitting a crate and let you know if I go that route. I'm in no big hurry as the gun isn't even here yet so I'm just shopping around and hoping a good deal will pop up.:D

In addition to price, it might be worth discussing what the vintage/country of origin is for the ammunition each dealer has, in the event that matters to an individual shooter.

Unless someone tells me Czech from the 60's is worse than Russian from the 70's I'll go with either at the lower price. Any input guys??

Use canada post as calculator we will ship DHL

Cheers

Hey, Sergey -

The shipping calculator on your website gives me three choices for shipping via Canada Post. We know the ammunition will come via DHL. Which of the three prices is the right one?

I'm really hoping it's the cheapest of the three...:D

Dan

Assume its the most expensive. Ammo isn't cheap to ship, doesn't even matter from where to where.
Sfrc to me(3.5hours) is $43, wolverine is $52( toronto to manitoba! So do the math.

I prefer the Russian over the Czech. Some of my rifles the Czech ammo tends to not eject so well, others it does not matter. I suspect its the varnish or coating they put on the cases. The 70s vintage Russian ammo seems to make no difference, it extracts and ejects fine no matter what rifle i use.

I had several cases of Russian shipped from Marstar to Edmonton last year, and it worked out to about 370 per case. Milarm I can pick it up for only 25 bucks more locally , but drive home with it today and not worry about transit and delivery schedules or meeting trucks and signatures. So 395 was not a bad deal considering...

Westrifle has a good deal, but i'm going to wait until family from Vancouver is coming up this way before i order anymore and pay big shipping costs.

USA prices way cheaper than Canadian. This has been discussed here so many times I will not explain why it is that way.

As to shipping calculator I believe it is the cheaper rate there and not the most expensive. Unless you want it to be express to you.

Cheers

Al
