Doe anybody know a source of ammo for 7.62 Nagant? Yes, I know that Fiocchi make it but it costs $55+Tax for a box of 50.
They also down powered it and now it only clocks about 600f/s instead of 1000f/s originally. I heard that S&B makes a really good and inexpensive nagant ammo. Is it available in Canada?

You can quite easily make brass from .32-20. It is a wee bit short but seems to work quite well.

Been there too. It works but ... it does not work properly. It is too short and I can not get gas obturation with it. Without gas obturation Nagant is just another old revolver. I just got some Fiocchi ammo but it is badly underpowered. My clocks only 750-780fps instead of originally promised 1080fps. I've tried reloading shot brass but could not make it work. :(
I really hope Starline is going to remanufacture Nagant brass. I'd buy at least 10k pieces. I've sent them email. Will see.

Graf & Sons sells Fiocchi unprimed 7.62 Nagant brass at $42.99/100

Nice! I while ago I've checked them and they only had Bertram brass for the cost of Fiocchi ammo. I'm wondering who is going to pay such price?

Gonna buy 100pc of Fiocchi brass and see how they reload. Starline was twice cheaper than Fiocchi and everybody give it a good review. I hope they going to make it again some day.

Found 4 boxes of 25 MT. reloadable brass at $25.00 a box and 6 boxes of 25 rounds of fioccni loaded rounds at $67.00 a box. At the Woodstock gun show and at that price I bet they will be still there at the next show..I have a pair of these pistols and use the 32/20 brass. It does work but I have to thin the rims down on the brass. I have tried several different cast lead projectiles and some of he jacketed bullets TRADEX has in stock. So far have had no luck with any sort of accuracey.

Cylinder is not prohibited, but if you put it into a gun, you would make the gun prohibited and non-grandfathered, e.g. you modify gun into prohibited by adapting it to shoot .32 caliber ammo...

Nevertheless, I know some people who shot 32 S&W Long without any modification = perfectly legal as you're doing stupid thing by using wrong ammo (no modification).

I believe you can get a replacement cylinder chambered in .32. A sight better to buy rounds for.

I had to jump through several hoops just to get Nagant ammo in Canada, I will have to go through even more problems just to get some Fiocchi brass here. The only reason I was able to buy ammo was fact that Fiocchi is located in Italy and nowadays it is much easier to buy from anywhere in the world as long as it is not US.
Such aftermarket cylinders are only available in US and I do not see any feasible ways of acquiring one. Since smuggling stuff across is not my style, I have no alternatives but to use original Nagant ammo. Furthermore, I personally believe that original 7.62 Nagant cartridge is much more versatile than .32. (IMHO)

BTW, RCBS just came up with very nice 7.62 Nagant dieset that allows truly proper reloading of this unique cartridge. It is much more expensive than Lee though.
