I just picked up my new polytech M305 yesterday. As i was reading the manual I noticed it said the rifle is chambered in 7.62 mm Nato. So I look at the receiver and it says .308 but with no win at the end. Any ideas what I should be loading for and if so does anyone know were to get 7.62 nato brass? Also, someone be willing to share a load recipe?

Thanks, James

Now if we can only find more Nato Surplus!

Tell you what. If I win the loto this week, I will set up a ammunition factory, that will produce NATO spec 5.56x45, 7.62x51, as well as civilian spec .223 and .308 soft point for hunting, and some Mk7 spec .303 ball for the milsurp crowd. I may also produce NATO spec 9mm, as well as 9mm Luger spec and .45 ACP.

EDIT: I will also produce standard 30-06 M1 ball, and 8mm ball as well.

You can tell I have too much thinking time as I already have a name picked out for the company lol, If its allowed I would revive the Dominion Arsenal name, and use the C broad arrow for my logo. (and to C Broad Arrow, you would be in direct copyright infringement, but I am a cool guy, so I will let it slide ok?) I even have some product lines all thought out. The NATO spec will be the Blue line, civilian spec will be green line, and old military rounds will be red line.

Cheap .30-06 ball to help feed my baby would be nice too...she still has a "little bit" of 8x63mm to eat up tho.
